Angela Storkey White Rock Geological

Abraham Whaanga – Principal Geologist BSc(Geology), Dip(Mgmt), MAusIMM(CP)

Coming from a GIS background, Abraham has nearly 20 years’ experience in the mining industry including epithermal gold in NZ, orogenic gold and nickel in the West Australian Goldfields, and iron ore in the Pilbara. In addition to gaining experience in all facets of production and exploration geology, Abraham has acquired extensive management skills throughout his career by taking on senior roles and complementing these with a Diploma in Management. He has the added benefit of being involved in mine shut down and startup processes, and has worked on numerous mine optimisation projects. Abraham is a Chartered Professional with the AusIMM.

Dr Angela Storkey – Principal Geologist BScHons(Geology), PhD(Geology), MAusIMM

Angela has an academic background in high-grade metamorphic terrains and partial melting, where her BSc Honours and PhD experience combined fieldwork with analytical techniques in geochemistry and geochronology. Since then, she has worked in orogenic and epithermal gold, lithium, rare-earth element, nickel, and iron ore commodities in Western Australia and Zealand. Angela's experience includes exploration and data review through to all aspects of open pit and underground mining, including mine geology, grade control drilling, geological and structural modelling, resource estimation, reconciliation and quality report writing.
